So we are here in Vancouver for a few days, and I tried to take my little daughter to the Aquarium like we did last year but unlike that time today the weather did not surprise us with a smiling sun, instead it poured water down on us. Tomorrow we go rain or shine. She is bored in front of the T.V.
Any way I am getting ready for the Summer festival, this will be my first time in a festival with my crafts. I don’t know how to feel about it Don’t know how much is too little, how much is too much because I have no idea how much people spend in these occasions. Let’s see first hand.
I’ve been busy creating some handmade stuff, and light wear crochet, among which some flowers thought you might like to see a sample.
I am a Brazilian who moved to Canada on the account of my husband’s post-doctoral research. I graduated in Travel andTourism, but always have worked in different fields. At the moment I am a stay home mom, and love to work with fibers.
I think of myself as a person who likes people.
I have a pretty little daughter, intelligent and happy that completes me as a person and always makes me want to improve.
I have always been a fan of crochet an Art learned from my dear granny Beatriz when I was just 8. She was a great woman. My mother-a proud craft instructor and mother of 4, also taught me a lot, specially about knitting, embroidery, and painting.
Colors are my fascination!
I want to share with you a little of my work. Things that I make up or learn. I hope we have good moments together!
